HALF PRICE SALE AT WOOSTERS!

It’s a New Year, and 2012 has such a nice ring to it! It is going to be an exciting year, the Olympics and Diamond Jubilee being just two of the highlights.

At WOOSTERS we are having our bi-annual SALE and our fabulous Autumn Winter clothing range is now half price. We  now have your favourite brands at 50% off their original ticket price. That’s Masai, Darling, Sandwich, Noa Noa, Lauren Vidal, all half price-brilliant!

We have also had a few new arrivals in the shops. Frank Lyman has ‘landed’ and the bright greens and turquoise are the perfect antidote to the grey days of winter. We are also expecting a delivery of Gant this week, in fact our Harpenden store has already received their delivery. If you love Masai- look out- because we are expecting a delivery any time soon…

In the meantime, grab a bargain at our SALE, on-line or in store because winter isn’t quite over yet!

We would like to wish all our customers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Also, we’d like to express a very big thank you to everyone for making 2012 a wonderful year for WOOSTERS!

We’re very excited about our new Spring Summer Collection for 2012! We are looking forward to showcasing more beautiful and individual clothing next year.

Look out for new ranges from favourites such as Masai, Sandwich and Lauren Vidal. As always, we’ve also discovered some interesting, smaller designers to introduce to you – Uldahl, a Danish brand with one-off fabulous statement pieces; 2012 sees the return of Caroline Biss to Woosters; and also ‘coming to a WOOSTERS near you’ is a fabulous jersey collection from Greece called Join.

Embrace the ‘Winter Blues’ at WOOSTERS…

Imagine a winter snow scene (many of you might be able to see one out of your windows? Hopefully the heating is working and you’re cosy inside!). The clear blue of the sky, the crisp white snow or frost,and the dark grey outlines of trees. The winter tones and textures of greys and blues are all available at WOOSTERS, we have a beautiful collection of clothes which reflect the season. From icy greys to cool blues this week it’s time to, ‘embrace the winter blues’.

Myrine and Me have some lovely pieces in shades of grey and varying textures. There are felted wool jackets and sheer spot dresses. Myrine and Me are a collection which has been designed with layering in mind. There are dresses with short cardigans or waistcoats, and sheer dresses with knits to layer over the top. Have a browse in-store or on-line to see the  entire range.

Masai also have some beautiful blue tunics in their winter collection. The merino wool blue sweater is divinely soft and warm without being  too bulky.We also love the blue stripe jersey tunic- just add jeans, or for a smarter look, black leggings and boots.

We still have a few grey Bessie jeans left in stock- these have been very popular again this season! Bessie jeans come in all sizes and ‘in-between’ sizes, (e.g. 11,13 as well as the standard 10,12 etc), so you get a perfect fit! They also come in black and really are a wardrobe essential- we have a waiting list for these jeans each season because they fit so well!

On the 8th Day of Christmas Our True Love has to Be…Party Wear for Dancing!

It has started! Time to dust off your dancing shoes and prepare to ‘frock up’! The party season has arrived!

‘Baby it’s cold outside’ but inside the fairy lights are sparkling and fires are aglow as friends and families gather together to celebrate!

There are Christmas parties for work, drinks parties with friends, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve to name just a few festive occasions on the calendar.

At Woosters we have some stunning pieces that will make you look and feel amazing this Christmas! We have have delightful ‘Little Black Dresses’ from Darling, ravishing red tunics from Masai and of course some glamorous faux fur outerwear from UBU-daaarling!- to complete your outfit!

Another WOOSTERS favourite is Frank Lyman who have produced fantastic evening wear which is also ‘oh so comfortable’ to wear. We don’t know how the designers at Frank Lyman do it but they make dresses that are so flattering and easy to wear, just try one you will be a convert!

Winter Wonders at WOOSTERS

We have had one of the mildest Novembers on record, but Spring is still a little while off. In the meantime there is a fabulous 20% off all clothing in WOOSTERS WINTER WONDERS (offer excludes jewellery and accessories), so now your winter wardrobe will be at a fraction of the cost!

We have got some beautiful knitwear to inspire you this season- we love Masai’s luxurious Merino wool jersey- the colour is divine and it feels so silky soft…heaven.

Harpenden Christmas Carnival

This Sunday it is the annual Christmas Carnival in Harpenden!

It is great day out for all the family, and will be sure to get you in the Christmas spirit! There will be a Christmas parade and musical entertainment throughout the afternoon, and of course a visit from the jolly gentleman in a big red suit-Santa!

Christmas Crackers at WOOSTERS

We are ‘crackers about Christmas‘ at WOOSTERS! We have been making our lists (and checking them twice!), rummaging in the loft for fairy lights, swapping Christmas cake recipes, and trying on Christmas Day outfits!

By our calculations (and we are not trying to cause a panic!) there are only 30 days until C-day. No need to fret though because WOOSTERS is here so, ‘keep calm and come to WOOSTERS‘. We have some ‘christmas crackers’ in store and on-line. So whether you are looking for the most chic little black dress for a party, or a cuddly jumper for a Boxing Day walk, or a pretty piece of jewellery for a precious daughter, come and visit us.

At WOOSTERS we have been inspired by Gok and his Fashion Roadshow, and we have given ourselves a £100 budget with which to create an outfit! The WOOSTERS Girls have been rummaging through the rails in the shops and they have discovered hidden gems of dresses and trousers of treasure to create fabulous outfits, and all for £100 or under!

WOOSTERS stock several designers that stand out as great value labels. British brand, Darling is one of our favourites. The Darling range offers vintage inspired fashion in fabulous fabrics with brilliant price tags! We have a divine lace collar coat for £95, pretty, chiffon dotty dress for £65, and floaty fern print tunic priced at £59. Add a pair of Noa Noa black leggings to the tunic and you have a complete outfit for £89!

Ya Ya is a relatively new label for WOOSTERS, and this collection offers a superb mix of well priced ‘basics’ and interesting pieces. There are stunning lace leggings which are a pinch at £46 and classic sweaters from £45.
